So I went to L.A., LalaLand, The City of Angeles - It is like a dream. Obviously I had an a-ma-zing time there. I absolutely adore L.A.! It's such a big city, but it feels kind of small and cosy when you are walking through it. I love it when a big city does that - and it might be something that differs for everyone: I had that home feeling in London, and I sort of got the same feeling here. Though, I must say, it was a trip that rushed through the schedule, so I'll definitely have to return, and maybe one day live there for a while. The world stretches her arms open for me, the opportunities are endless, and I see "f-r-e-e-d-o-m" spelled out when I look into my future. I am afraid traveling is contagious - I can see myself as a human bird in the future, going from place to place, not homeless but with several places I call home.
It was such a wonderful week! the best part may be making such good friends! How I miss them already! I can not wait to meet them again back in Europe.
It tears me apart, how I missed my Texans while I was in Cali, and how I will miss them when I'm back at the other side of the Atlantic! Two-and-a-half months to go - I could swear the time in The States flies faster than it does in The Netherlands. I'm not ready to go home yet!
